Barcelona has been on my Wish List for some time. It’s art and architecture is exciting
It is a port town on the Mediteranian (the Balearic Sea)
near the Nalearic Islands

I happened to see a scenic picture of Barcelona in an Over Tourism article and ironicall decided it was a good opportunity to run next Spring in Barcelona
Over Tourism occurs when Huge Cruise ships (and air pollution) flood the streets with tourists after arriving into port

It is a smaller marathon, with less than 20,000 runners, although that can be a crowd of runners if the streets are narrow.
The low cost of airfare was ridculous
